Patrick Peterson looking to be highest paid corner now.

I think he's bordering on the "elite" level. Sherman is obviously a great CB - but he's also a part of the best secondary in the entire league. Peterson also benefits from being a spectacular return man and for the most part the NFC West doesn't really have an elite WR. I'd certainly put PP in the top 3-5 at his position and I'm probably leaning more towards T3.

PP7 is a better ST returner than CB. He could potentially become a top corner in a couple years if he take his game to another level, but not right now. He's still Michael Crabtree's lil biatch.

(1) Sherman

(2) Revis

(3) Haden

(4) Talib

(5) Grimes / PP7

I would take PP over everyone on this list except for Sherman and probably Hayden.

Doesn't matter what the op or anyone else thinks. This is America. Capitalism. He should make as much money as humanly possible. Whatever the market will bear. And he should not be faulted for it. It's his right.
