the other day i was microwaving some popcorn at work and spacing out.  i was looking at the box in the cabinet.

i was watching some show one time that was about amateur renovation projects.  i think it was on DIY network.

 

anyway some guy was trying to close a shut off valve.  i watched in agony as he turned it all the way to the left, noticed that it wouldn't go any further, grabbed a pair of pliers, and forced it to the left until it snapped off.
