David Foucault Highlights

Some people, myself included, seemed excited about this guy so I thought I'd find some highlights. Starting a couple minutes in is defensive highlights, so you can skip to about the halfway mark if you want to catch our guy. He is #67.

A couple observations:

1. The dude is huge.

2. Given his size, defenders can get leverage on him. There's a point in the video when you see this happen.

3. At a few points in the highlights, the play moves away from him and he just stands around. He'll probably need coaching in a lot of areas including down the field pursuit.

4. He can throw large people around like ragdolls.

Probably not our long term answer at tackle, but an intriguing prospect nonetheless. I'll be excited to see if he makes the 90, let alone the 53.

He'd be a good candidate for the practice squad. he needs to learn the game of American football. Gaydosh said last year that it was different than Canada and he had a lot to learn

Saw 67 like once during the game play

Watching the CFL draft right now and they said he's only played football for 3 years and that he projects to be a left tackle, but that's up here. These guys aren't as fast and athletic.

FWIW (nothing) Duane Ford (Canadian Analyst) has Foucault as his number 2 best available at start of the draft.

Was going to post what spot he got drafted but this crap has already lost my interest 2 picks in.
