Just wanted to start a page for ideas or events people attend around North Carolina or Charlotte....

 

Any kind of event you regularly attend or have heard about that interest you or other people. Basically I am looking to get more involved around community with cool random events and looking for ideas!

lol yeah used to when I was younger and they brought rock bands in. Now? no way....

 

I really meant local beer/food festivals or random events like that....

I'm really looking forward to the Canned Beer Fest.  Greek Fest is another absolute can't miss as mentioned.

 

There really isn't a day in Charlotte that doesn't have something going on.

 

If you get the Observer, check out the CLT section that comes every Friday - they list events by the day.

 

Off the top of my head to add:

 

Renaissance Fest in the fall

Oktoberfest at Waldhorn Restaurant in September.

24 Hours of Booty in July

Festival in the Park in September (Freedom)
