Oh Gettis, what could have been.  Not sure what happened to him, but I think a big part of it was "Derrick Rose" syndrome, where he struggled to regain confidence in his knee.  You take a guy that had limited college experience already, take him out of football for two years it's not going to get any better. Pretty sure he was in the Rivera dog house as well, I remember the year before last Gettis tried to come back week 16 or 17 and was screaming at Rivera on the sidelines to get him in.
