Only 8 episode in the first season, guess they really weren't sure it would be watched. 2 left...

showtime does that, black sails was also just 8 episodes, and that was renewed for two season before they hit ep 4.. this one was renewed after 5.

Never been a real big fan of Eva Green, but she killed it last night. That was one of the best possession scenes (actually the whole show) in any movie or tv show.

With Showtime's haunting and mesmerizing Penny Dreadful wrapping up its first season this past weekend, it's time to look ahead. John Logan's (Skyfall, The Last Samurai) gothic, poetic horror series was picked up for a 10-episode Season 2 and so we've been scraping our skulls and searching our souls to come up with a wish list for next year's run of vampires, demons, wolfmen, and walking dead.
