2 episode in, been good so far. Egyptian vampires...I think. It has a good creepy feeling to it and being set in Victorian England always helps the creepy factor for me. no Twilight bullsh!t, always a +

It's getting so much better. The Frankenstein-under-the-stage scene was interesting. The rat-dog scene was interesting.

Ironically it has a former James Bond with a previous Bond girl as his counterpart. Any hardcore Bond fans may like the show just for the cast alone

I like it! I just watched episode 4. I guess I'm a fan. I do like how they use the victorian era settings. It makes it more creepy.

Showtime has ordered a second season of Penny Dreadful, the network announced Wednesday. The drama will return with ten episodes in 2015.

"Picking up Penny Dreadful was one of the easiest decisions I've made," said Showtime president David Nevins. "The series has had worldwide impact, drawing big, passionate audiences on both sides of the Atlantic, and more than any other show on our network has hit the bullseye with viewers who want to watch television in all the new ways that are available.
