it started with the panthers and leverage conversation, saying the panthers have it. i honestly believe it comes down to what Hardy believes he is worth. if the panthers are close to that number, he will tell Drew the make it happen. but if they low ball him, since they have a 2nd round rookie, he will walk.

It will be a negotiation no doubt but I wouldn't presume to think the Panthers would "low ball" a proven vet for the mystery of an incoming rookie. That's just not smart business. But like all things that we personally are not involved, we will have to wait and see.

and its not just Carolina fans..  its the GP across the board inclusive of all NFL fans.  

 

I make fun of them all when they are not looking but truth be told I am glad they exist to buy the tickets and tshirts and jerseys and flat bills that allow all the-- wait.  Hell no.  Its the dumb people that facilitate the delusions of grandeur these players have to begin with making everything so damn expensive in the first place.

 

Most of these people haven't a clue what they need and don;t even know what they want without some outside advice.  There is a reason why the airwaves are chock full of has-beens and wannabes telling them what to say around the water coolers every morning. The lines around the block full of advertisers marketing the sale of unnecessary crap to the masses is proof positive that a feeding frenzy perpetuates around sports and is fueled by the dollars of the ignorant.

same question for you, since Ealy is now on the team, do you think the panthers should offer a low contract and not give him his worth?

You talking about ealy? His contract amount is dictated mostly by the cba. I bet someone here can prob guess it from last years contract at his spot.

But from kraken I think they legitimately want him and will try without breaking the bank.

Everyone of our picks was an area of need - Ealy because we are going to need to replace a starting DE next year.  And people forget how much they were maligning our secondary all last season.

no i was talking about Hardy as far as the contract offer. i know Ealy contract is based off the CBA.
