Not even 1 day removed from the draft

and people already bitching.

Yes we need Oline help gettlemen has a plan.

Exactly! And we need veteran help, not rookies thrown at every position! And there is about to be a whole cast of veterans cut as other teams shed some contract weight

I can tell you're a thinking man. I will also add that you can BPA among your needs. This team needed WRs, CBs, OTs, it's not difficult to BPA among those needs. Any logical person who is buying a vehicle for family would exclude porsche or any vehicle with less than 5 seats. Simpletons take the idea of BPA literally. And then again that's the difference between Ozzie Newsome as a GM and Gettleman.

 

he wanted to trade cam and draft bridgewater at the start of last season so i'm afraid i have to disagree with your assessment

Everybody needs to quit sucking Cam off.....the one guy that can take lemons and make lemonade, it's him. Avant and Cotchery automatically boosts his completion percentage. He knows the goal is slow solid drives. We become a quick, scoring team and we kill our strength....defense. We then start playing shoot-outs and we will lose!

Gettleman will be picking up OL as cuts begin just like he did last year. I know a lot of us wanted to draft multiple OT's to ease our minds, but at the end of the day they are still rookies, and outside of the top of the first round, there were not any immediate starters available.

Maybe so, but what about Tempa, NO, and Atlanta? They're not the same either.

 

Quite honestly I don't care what they did in the draft or so far in the offseason. We still have the 2nd ranked defense in the league and I believe we are setup to be better this year. Harper, love him or hate him, brings a veteran presence along with Cason and Decoud.  Dockery and Godfrey are back which isn't a bad thing. And still having White and Thomas I think makes for an overall decent defensive backfield. I think they compliment our front 7 rotation nicely.

You can't fix the entire o line in one draft. I love the kony pick. Remember the Giants? Remember their rotation with Umenyiora Strahan jpp and tuck? We have a better DC that will utilize the fug outta that. Chandler IMHO is going to be a tackle and a damn good one at that. He came in a balled out at guard WHICH HE PRACTICED FOR ONLY TWO WEEKS and held his own. Imagine that with a whole year of experience and workouts.

Ryan kalil silatolu and Turner will be beasts up the middle where most of our pressure came from save the Mario Williams wad blast last year. And we have crucial depth. I think one or two of our udfa and somebody we don't even know yet will fill a need. Outside the top 4 tackles there were JAGS and scrubs left. Deal with it!
