I see this is a rebuilding year

would it be more "win now" had we done this in the draft?

1st - Marqise Lee/Jordan Matthews/Cody Latimer/Davante Adams/Cyrus Kouandjio/Joel Bitonio

2nd - Allen Robinson/Jarvis Landry/Donte Moncrief/Morgan Moses/Billy Turner

3rd - WR Bruce Ellington/WR Martavius Bryant

4th - OT Cameron Fleming

5th - WR Jared Abbrederis/WR Robert Herron

6th - OT Seantrel Henderson/OT Charles Leno

7th - OT James Hurst/OT Tiny Richardson

Every year is a building year for Gettleman. We are never one player away. We never sell out for the now. Last year we melted down about corner back. It worked out because we had a enough good players in other positions.

Last year people melted down on boards about the offensive line. It cost us the 49er's game.

Going 12-4, winning the division, and losing in the Divisional Playoff round was not a rebuilding year. Neither is this. If you watch the Niners game you will notice many of the players that played poorly and made poor decisions are no longer Panthers.

I didn't say last year was a rebuilding year, but our biggest liability last year wasn't addressed.

Yeah I'm not disputing we have weaknesses. But in the context of this thread, we are not rebuilding. Every year under Gettleman we will have strengths and weaknesses. It is the eb and flow of the NFL. It doesn't mean a team is OK with losing.

And this is why you're not employed in sports.  What'd you expect us to do, reach for positions of need and start 4-5 rookies this year? That's definitely how we improve from 12-4.

Geez, as much as you guys are guzzling the phallus of the 49ers GM this weekend, you would have cruxcified him for the Lattimore pickup in the fourth round last year since they had Frank Gore/LaMichael James/Kendall Hunter already, and Lattimore was unable to play for the year and at the point, may have never been cleared.  Playoff teams that draft for immediate need fail, (see the Minnesota Vikings and Christian Ponder).  You are always building for the future, there is no status quo in the NFL.

Two things. First. That ban didn't last long did it? Two. Our Defense playing like idiots was just as much to blame as the Oline.

Take your ban like a man. Then come back when you know what you are talking about. That loss was a total team effort.

Exactly. That is why fans are fans and not Front Office personnel. They think with their hearts, not their brains. Well, the ones with a brain anywho.
