I see this is a rebuilding year

First thing we improved on was releasing our WR corp,  that was one of the worst units in the NFL.

Tackle,  we'll see what happens.   Guard has been upgraded just with the guys healing up and getting back on the field,  from IR.

Defense has been bolstered.

So you are saying releasing Smitty and Ginn improved our team?

We are not a Superbowl caliber team at this time, a winning record and playoffs....maybe. We are getting close to being a upper tier team and if we continue to purge the crappy contracts, have cap money to spend and draft wisely then the future looks bright. The teams in our division will be tougher and we will probably take some good body blows next year......but if we keep on track we will see the positive results and maybe a SB in the next few years. Be patient grasshopper....

Well if you factor in our off season cuts it should be clear we want to be competitive but not expecting to win a SB next year

That's fair. I think we are one more draft away from being a consistent contender.

Our D will put our ceiling at 9-7, our offense however will set our floor in the 5-11 range, in other words. 7-9 at best although 5-11 possible with that hellish schedule

You were saying the same dumb crap last year.

I don't understand how so many people can look at one perceived hole on our roster and think we won't be good again.  We easily have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL and we are loaded with superstars (young ones too).
