I love his attitude..  he is confident in himself,  and knows who he is.  By coming out,  he basically implied "F*** You All.  This is who I am,  If you feel I can play,  then draft me,  if you don't,  then move along,  I will not hide who I am or be ashamed"

As someone who supports a gay family member and accepts their lifestyle I believe that Sam did have a bad combine that caused him to fall not his sexuality.

Fair warning: when him coming out became a news story, I saw plenty of "outrage" over him going from being a potential first round pick to possibly not being drafted because of his sexuality......regardless of the fact that he was never considered to be anything better than late round project talent (as far as I ever knew)

So I'm sure someone will try to make a big thing over the "crime" of him being drafted late.
