UDFA Thread

He's just not a great player, awful tackler. He turnovers were inflated from being on the field so much. You may see this or that that said he had whatever round potential (such as Hurst was projected), but it was a bunch of bullshit. I'm not trying to deflate you guys, I really like our first three rounds, and even our 5th, but I can't help but feel like we wasted our fourth.

We will never know I guess with Boston, even though most had him going about where he went. But at least we didn't use it on a guy we now know no one was interested in drafting. That is what we do know.

You could make an argument picks 3-6 were all either reaches or value picks. It depends on your source.

 

I've seen Boston rated from a 3/4 rounder to a 5/6 rounder. Same with Turner.

In terms of value there is none in using a 4th round pick on a guy not drafted. I would have been happy signing him to UDFA. Just glad we didn't use a pick on him. Especially a 4th. If in two years if he is playing well I would be saying "I wish we signed him as UDFA" not "I wish we used a 4th round pick on him"

So you agree we shouldn't have drafted Tre, who in my opinion should have been an UDFA.

 

Do you understand how opinions work? You seem stuck on towing the company line for whatever the Panther's organization does without giving much input to the topic. You do realize people can disagree, and it not be illogical?

Hehe.  We won't have to worry about that.  Hurst will be starting for the Ravens this year.
