Pretty much

Thanks for pointing that out. I just caught the 5'10" part while perusing the Huddle and listening to the TV. He is actually 5'10 and 3/4 inches.  Close enough to 5'11" for me.

Like someone else alluded to: Riverboat Ron is cashing in some chips.

I must say that I'm not enthused with our lack of offensive picks, but perhaps the FO has more faith in McNutt and King than we know.

Look, think about how many catches our #4 and #5 receivers have made the last several years, and then relax and quit worrying about those guys.

With Olsen basically being a #3 receiver #4 & #5 won't ever see the field during the regular season.  We will have Avant, Crotchery, KB, and Olsen.  Everyone else will mostly have great seats to Panthers games.

Benjamin pick says otherwise.

Left the word "size" out for a reason...Benjamin isn't particularly athletic, just a physical speciman. Not a great Vertical Jump, not a great 40 time, not great in the cone drill. I would say that just because Benjamin dropped 3 balls in the Florida game, that doesn't mean he isn't a great football player.

All this crap about "oh, he can't run routes," whatever. Most receivers that enter the NFL aren't running crisp NFL routes. It takes a while for almost every receiver to get comfortable.

I don't know if you're being sincere, or tongue-in-cheek, please let me know.  At this point I'm like...I'm just here (as a Panthers fan) just waiting to see what happens. That's all I can do.

He might not have the measurables that you see of smaller receivers, but Cosell says he is more athletic than Evans. He said that Benjamin is a more fluid receiver, and for, what it's worth, he likes Benjamin better.

Not tongue in cheek at all.  We don't use many packages with more than three WRs.  We split Olsen out wide or in the slot a lot.

We have 4 legit WRs if you count Olsen.  We may not have a quintessential #1 WR but we have 4 capable guys to spread that production around to.

The offense was better than many of you give it credit for, but we are not missing that many pieces and have a QB that can make lemonade out of lemons (see Ted Ginn).

I'm not overly worried about #4 & #5 WRs right now, King and McNutt may very well be able to play those roles, but those guys do not play a lot in our offense.  We got KB and that is good enough in terms of weapons.  Now we need an OT.  Maybe Bell is better suited on the left.  Many of the coaches actually believe that is the case.  We will have to wait and see.  But we have plenty of weapons including a QB that can just make things happen.

Our overall offense is what it is. We are a team built around defense, and I am fine with that, but I still would like us to draft Brandon Coleman or Jared Abbrederis in round 6.

He is more fluid, Evans has obviously much better hands

I don't know...I mean I'm not going to argue that but aren't the "measureables" how you measure athleticism. I feel like that's what's so disorienting about combines. All drills to measure the athlete, little to measure their skills with pads.

I find it very odd that he would say that Benjamin is a better athlete than Mike Evans. I mean, he obviously is unmatchable from a physical standpoint but when you look at his actual athletic ability, he isn't really shattering the earth with his speed and leaping ability. I think he really does have better fundamentals and concentration than people give him credit for. In my opinion, that's what I like so much about him.

I'm not really arguing with you though
