Day 3 Draft thread

And will he continue to LIKE playing here if he is on his back and sacked more than any QB in the league this year?

He'll like the money he'll be making from Carolina, so he'll be fine.

Additionally, I agree with you.  NFL offensive line's never change between May and September.  Agree with you 100%.

So? We just had a 12-4 year. How many other teams can say that? He likes the defense. He likes the coach, the owner. You think he will just leave the team to go somewhere else because they can keep him upright a little better? So he will go to a team that has a good to great o-line but their defense is poo. It just makes no sense. I think Cam is ok with the o-line situation.

Because a 6th round rookie in free fall down draft boards is definitely doing to do better his rookie year.

We don't even have depth at the position. I'd rather take a flyer on a position of need than draft a RB that will go into a crowded backfield and never see the field and/or cause a draft pick from the previous year to get cut.

So let me get his right, WR and OT were the biggest needs coming into the draft and only WR has been picked and no OTs have been selected. Am I missing something here?

Yes.

You're not an NFL GM.

And (as I keep saying and saying and saying) it's not September yet.

And after our 1st round pick, WR was no longer as big of a need as secondary players were.

A power running back that fits our system exactly? Deangelo is gone next year, Stewart may never stay healthy or be the same again, Tolbert is 28 and only under contract 2 more years.  I'll take him as a future 1-2 punch with Barner.

Why not cross that bridge when it happens? Both are on the roster now. We have other needs now.
