The Charlotte hornets draft... Jabari Parker

If the Hornets really believe a player like Wiggins or Parker is what we need to make our team contend with the Heat and Pacers then we should trade the 9th and 24th pick and a couple of pieces to get the player we want. This team needs a star to contend in the East.

I would trade the #9 #24 and a future 1st for Jabari...

Call me crazy! But what are the chances we draft an impact player that's as good as Jabari with those other picks? Slim to none. And that's what the NBA is about. Having the best player(s).

Kid is a stud, and with Kemba -> Jabari -> Al together that would make for an impressive offensive attack.

Let me clarify something for you guys.

9, 24, and 45, 2 future first rounders and Kemba Walker would be a start in a deal moving into the top 3. Right now, we have almost no one on our roster with trade value aside from Kemba. No team wants an average SG making 6 million a season. MKG and Zeller have value but it's way too early to give up on them. Biyombo may have a little, but not much. Neal's expiring contract next season might be worth something, but very little.

So, if you guys want a top 3 pick, it will cost

9, 24, 45, 2 future first rounders, Kemba Walker and MKG. That will never happen.

Stop with this trading into the top 3 bullshit, it's not happening

I would trade 4 firsts for one of the big 3 in this draft and I'd do it without thinking twice.  Since we have two firsts this year we have the luxury to do it.  We pretty much would go two years without a first round pick, boo hoo.  I firmly believe Jabari, Embiid and Wiggins will all be stars for the next decade.  I give up #9, #24, 2015 first, 2016 first without hesitation.  Only issue is I doubt that's enough.  Those teams aren't trading those picks.
