Why? Did he not shower after games?

 

Vic  quit on our team during Summer workouts 1) because he was a diva and 2) because he had an issue with some coaches. A week or two later he decided he wanted to come back. Our head coach left it up to the seniors (myself along with 3 current NFL players among them) to vote on whether or not we wanted him back on the team. We voted to allow him back on the team, but only if he was willing to make up the work he'd missed. Basically we just wanted him to run some extra gassers/gut busters after practice for a couple weeks to prove he was committed to us. When he heard our stipulation he was not willing to come back on those terms and wound up transferring schools. A year later he was kicked off of that team.

 

I hope he's really grown up since then (even though he was arrested in April) and none of us ever cared to keep in touch with him after that, but he doesn't have the character of a Panthers player.

Once you get to the 3rd or 4th you really are going straight off your board.

He may want a CB but he is going to keep drafting his view of best value. If values align for a CB great. But he is going to take BPA

Kug wasn't a value pick last year fwiw, it was a coaches pick from what I heard, those usually happen in the later rounds

Whats wrong with him? Just curious.

 

I just wrote about it in another post in this thread.

 

The kicker to that story is that the school he transferred to after he left ours was our cross-town heated rival. We beat them that year 21-20 in the regular season finale with Vic starting at corner. They were on a 109-game win streak until we beat them that day. Then he got kicked off our rivals' team for fighting with the coach and wound up at some HS in SC.

He's going to be good though he may fall unless there is a run on safety's.

 

Another guy we worked out that I think we'd grab if he's there in the 4th is Telvin Smith. Huff is more of a FS, but Smith is an OLB that I think we could beef up and turn into the next Kam Chancellor at SS.

Good, that's one pick we know that won't be a linebacker, running back, or quarterback lol. We need one for sure. I hope we grab Louchiez Purifoy in the 4th or 5th round.

Might want to google Kelvin Benjamin making 3/4ths of his highlight reel tourching Purifoy...Mcgill, Desir and Watkins, Roberson are light years ahead of Loucheiz..who did sevything wrong at the combine and pro days to ruin his career.
