3rd Round Pick Trai Turner G LSU

Kurb

Recommended Posts

At minimum, Benjamin will instantly improve our red zone offense.

Kony and Turner are both studs at their respective positions.

There is no doubt we have improved our 53 man roster through the 1st three rounds, so I am not going to freak out because we still have some weak positions on the team. Every team (including Seattle, San Fran, Denver, etc) has weaknesses. That's just the way it is given the cap and the mechanisms  the league has established in it's quest for parity. Gettleman has been true to his word and has selected what he feels are good football players regardless of need.

I'm very satisfied so far.

Quite well, using both historical metrics (Merlin Olsen, Buck Buchanan) and present day comparisons (Haloti Ngata, Vince Wilfork). I graded him at a 93.17, sixth highest in the 2013 draft.

And all Gettleman's children said....Amen.

If you want to see Turner at his finest watch him against Arkansas.

There is a play where LSU runs the option and Turner is the only blocker in front of him. Turner is so big that even though he is engaged with a defender, other defenders can't reach around him to tackle the running back because he's staying so close to Turner.

This kid can move for his size, he's gonna be special.

They used to be more strict back in the Clausen era. I got banned like 4 times that year.

They've lightened up a bit since that fiasco tho because, well fug, it was hard on all of us, lol.

You can have balance with the hammer, it's not hard
