3rd Round Pick Trai Turner G LSU

Kurb

Recommended Posts

LT: Nate Chandler - Andrew McDonald

LG: Amini Silatolu - Edmund Kugbila

C: Ryan Kalil - Brian Folkerts

RG: Trai Turner - Chris Scott

RT: Byron Bell - Travis Bond

Thank you for your sensible depth chart. I don't know WTH those other offensive line depth charts were in this thread.

I think Chandler will end up playing left tackle. He was better at tackle than guard and has quick feet.

Good point by James Dator on Twitter: Kalil, Turner, Silatolu....that's actually, a GOOD core we have on the line now. Tackles yeah okay, but the line as a whole isn't nearly as bad as we're thinking/thought.

Pretty much what we were saying a month ago...yet people still overreacted. It had to be obvious we would tune up the line through the draft, but the o-line wasn't that bad off to begin with.

I switched Scott and Kugbila around on my chart since Scott played LG in preseason and regular season and Kugbila played RG and RT in college.

With adding Turner we now have options on the line. They can move pieces around in camp to field the best possible. Still have the rest of the draft and later cuts.

If Bell can at least do as well on the left side as he did the right we might get by this year and grab a franchise LT next year. Then hell who knows Bell may surprise us, but i won't hold my breath.

Good pick up though. Love the draft so far.
