Charles Johnson's Last Year?

if he stays this year, he counts 16mil against the cap.  the following year about 12..  so if he stays this year then II don't see him getting cut when we'll gain 4mil.  He's worth it at that rate.

usually I remember things better than this..  somehow I missed CJ's 17.4m in 2015...

I was looking through all the contracts and it's going to be hard to maneuver around without letting CJ go or Hardy walk.  If Gettleman can find a way to make it to 2016, things will start looking up.  By 2017, nearly 17m toward RBs will be off the books (for the most part).

TD - 9.9m in 2015

Tolbert counts about 3m

Kalil will count 11m in 2015 and 10 in 2016...

Greg Olsen will save 5m next year..  his final year I believe..

Dwan Edwards 2m will be gone after this year.

And 13m immediately open if Hardy isn't signed..

Derek Anderson about 1.5..  but that's almost insignificant and we have a capable backup.

    • The problem with drafting a DE/EDGE high in the 1st is the bust factor.  That position group busts at a scary rate.  We HAVE to hit our first 3 rounds.  Cant take chances on tweeners or potential guys.
    • Man folks right on this site said Deion was gonna follow his son to the nfl and have a big impact on his draft stock with his interference and yet we have seen no such thing. He just signed an extension to stay in Colorado for the foreseeable future. The only thing we have seen is so called experts try to tank shedeurs stock with false accusations and rumors and deion just had to step in and shut it down. This why you have to stop listening to what certain people say. Too much hate and emotion in most opinions.
    • That's sound logic! I think we could make a case for a few players. I know its not popular  with a few but Warren gives to the  identity we want. Tremble is mostly a blocker. Sanders flashed late but mostly a receiving  threat at the moment. Warren is an automatic 1st down, run blocks, runs the ball and can even line up and throw it. To me he is if you took the Taysom Hill and actually could play tight end too. I just think looking at Goedert, Kelce,  Laporta, Hoeckenson, Baltimore Tight ends, Knox and Kindcaid and etc... all the  last few teams had stellar Tight end play. Warren allows you to be unpredictable  on offense bc he is equally good at being a target, as he is a blocker. Don't want to run Bryce on a qb sneak, plug Warren in with the threat to pass. I would be happy with him, Walker or a few others. As long as the player isn't riding the bench year 1.
