Beech trees are my favorite. Super strong with an incredible root system. The "bark" I always thought was pretty neat. Smooth. My favorite part of it is the leaves, though. Iove how the just kind of turn white and hang in the trees and when you pick them up they have this fuzzy feel. Really not any trees like it. 8 know they're all different, but beech and Birch are both just awesome trees. We had a lot of both of them at the old property. One of the few things I miss about being there. We had a couple giant Beech trees growing beside a stream bed like that bottom one you posted here and you'd look at it and just be amazed at how it could hang like that without falling. -
