Youtube video: Kelvin Benjamin 2013 Drops

Recommended Posts

Throw him in front of the juggs machine and get him schooled in proper technique on a consistent basis. No matter who we choose there will be issues at number 28.....very few wideouts without concerns after the first one or two guys on the board.....let's be real here.

Ryan McCrystal of DraftAce.com, former ESPN researcher, posted that video and wrote: "Surprised by some of the reaction to the Benjamin stat I tweeted earlier.. if you distrust stats, watch for yourself"

The Benjamin stat he posted that he is talking about is the pic below, which he posted and wrote: "Consider this before putting Kelvin Benjamin on your team's wish list..." He explained: "the select games is because I only chart against top competition...min. 4 games for each. Selecting toughest defensive matchups. Also don't penalize WRs for drops on poor throws."

About Lee, he wrote: "high number of screens probably inflates his catch %," and he said "that's (also) a given with Sammy...He was basically a 'Wide-RB'"

That chart can be misleading. Would like to see his drops percentage from first. Then did he improve second year. I mean the guy was drafted on potential anyway. Even though he will be 24. Only played two seasons at a high level

The chart is misleading, in small print it says "in select games".

Seems like all but one of those are in blowouts where its almost understandable if the kid was thinking about other things.

The two that are not in blowouts are early in the gave vs the Gators and against Bethune where it was off of his fingertips...
