KB will have a huge impact. Gettleman  said it in his press conference. You put KB on the outside, teams will have to roll coverage his way which means we will face a lot of 7 man boxes. FSU put him in the slot or as a joker tight end. Putting KB against a nickel or a linebacker or safety is a mismatch. .

Are you still doing this? I can't decide if you're trolling now or just really hate Benjamin (or his alma mater?)

Isn't that exactly what would make any WR draft pick worth it? Catching the football.......

BTW, please use punctuation, that was painful to read.

With such a broad generalization about what wide receivers jobs are, you can't be wrong. However, the point was that he is limited in his route potential at this point leaving him useless for anything but jump balls. You don't draft a first round receiver to be just a red zone threat.

Actually if you watch the presser DG said he was above average in his route tree for this WR class. OBJ was the ONLY wr in the draft who ran a full route tree.

Prohl turned Armanti into a guy who was vying for a starting spot so I have confidence he can teach Benjamin but if he struggles to learn the routes he won't play. At that point, you wonder if the first round tender is worth while. But drafting based on what other prospects can and cannot do is one thing whereas drafting what they can do for you is another. In other words, I think this pick was more about Shula and Rivera wanting a more vertical passing attack than we had last season.(something they mentioned damn near every week).
