Lee had worse hands than Benjamin.

from Ryan McCrystal of DraftAce.com, former ESPN researcher. He explained: "the select games is because I only chart against top competition...min. 4 games for each. Selecting toughest defensive matchups. Also don't penalize WRs for drops on poor throws."

About Lee, he wrote: "high number of screens probably inflates his catch %," and he said "that's (also) a given with Sammy...He was basically a 'Wide-RB'"

He writes: "last one focused only on drops. This one also accounts for ability to put themselves in position to make a play on catchable ball...although don't hold this chart against Evans/Benjamin.. their high % of downfield targets means their degree of difficulty was higher"

That's called skewing statistics to meet an agenda.

If I was to relate this to the NFL, it would look something like this.... every receivers game against Carolina will not be factored because the Panthers have a poor secondary.

Overall, Benjamin had a 9% drop rate largely due to the fact that he lacks significant concentration at times and tends to do something with the ball before he secures it. Both of those things can be coached out.

Lee on the other hand tends to drop balls on contact (could it be his injury has made him paranoid), or simple because his technique and overall hand strength is poor.

In select games last year (11) Byron Bell gave up 0 sacks according to PFF.  Left Tackle is no longer a need.
