Eat your Crow KB Haters

I'm a little scared by KB being raw compared to Lee and other second tier WRs, while also only having one year of production. But it's hard not to be excited about a guy with his size and tools. Every team in the division has targets with size for their QB and Cam needed one of his own. He just got a guy who could *potentially* turn into a monster.

Why make anyone eat crow for this?

What happens in a few years and those who called him a bust want you to eat crow if he busts? I am not big on the guy, I think he'll be good but not great.... does that make me a hater?

Panthers needed a red zone target but they need blockers and a back who can move it in the red zone, too. Great to have a target down field but Cam has to have time to get it there and you can't just sling the ball every play, every down. Cam will get killed.

I was definitely wrong about the pick. I think it shows a lot of faith in our coaching staff and our locker room that they will keep this guy focused and tap into his potential.

I had some questions, but I'm far from a hater.  KB was the guy I wanted when the college season ended, so I can't possibly be made that we took him tonight.  I'm just fuging relieved that we didn't take Lee or Kouandjio.

Lee is very talented, but there are A LOT of concerns about his long term durability. I'm extremely happy with the pick as Benjamin kinda reminds me of Alshon Jeffery. I'll take a WR like my man Alshon any day!

I'm gonna guess Ricky Proehl liked him a lot.

 

Wasn't my first choice.  Would have preferred Cody Latimer or Cyrus Kouandjio, but I'll get on board with it and hope they made the right pick.

 

His size could be a huge factor in the red zone.

 

We may still get Latimer yet.  He was never a real threat to go first round underneath all that smoke.
