What happens in a few years and those who called him a bust want you to eat crow if he busts?  I am not big on the guy, I think he'll be good but not great.... does that make me a hater?

 

Panthers needed a red zone target but they need blockers and a back who can move it in the red zone, too.  Great to have a target down field but Cam has to have time to get it there and you can't just sling the ball every play, every down.  Cam will get killed.

Given that most of the irrational hate against him had more to do with ridiculous commentary on our general manager's philosophy and myths surrounding him as a prospect, how he pans out is ultimately irrelevant in this context.

Though I do, ftr, think he can end up great.
