The question has been was it inherent in his makeup or just laying back as not to get hurt his last season? The funniest clips are of the Ol ball sack frustrated over questions about Clowney that he obviously does not want to answer.Yes there is real reason to question his effort.

My hunch about Mack is that he'll be a very good pass rusher, and not much else.   I think he would look good in Gus Bradley's defense.  I don't think he's an elite talent though.  He's pretty terrible against the run.

No one actually believes that Clowney could've gone from HS senior to NFL starter. The kid would've gotten CRUSHED. There is no one at the HS level who is ready to physically compete in the trenches at the NFL level.
