It worries me that Cam Newton is a better athlete than Kelvin Benjamin in literally every category per combine measurements, but if Ricky Proehl says Benjamin is the guy then that's good enough for me!  I honestly think we end up using him like the Saints use Jimmy Graham.  Call him a TE, call him a WR, call him whatever you want.  Just go catch balls and make plays.

Not crazy about the pick. Inconsistent hands, route running needs work, wont get a lot of separation. Is really a part time, specialty player at this point, and will take some work to be a every down player. But with all that said he's a Panther now and will have my full support

Love the pick. Perfect for Cam and the offense. This dude is just hitting his stride. Steal at 28 when we look back a few yrs from now. They wont say it but rival fans wont like Benjamin in a Panthers uniform.

The fact that Gettles got Cotchery and Avant makes me think he's always thinking several steps ahead. They and Proehl are gonna coach this kid up.
