Round 1 - Carolina Panthers select WR Kelvin Benjamin FSU

He didn't look tthat vascular at the combine.  4% must be some kind of exaggeration from some source.

Looking at him I say no way.

4% is bodybuilding level with hyper defined striations and vascularity.

Not sure what you are trying to say. You don't have to be a toned up, steroid taking, lift all day type player to have 4% body fat. The kid is strong as an ox, with what I have heard, natural strength. He does lift, but he is like BO in that he is just a freak, strenght wise.

I played softball with a cat that never lifted a weight in his life. The dude was one of the strongest people I have ever met. Some folks just have a predisposition for strength. KB be one of them.

Ah hellz, worry away. If you are not a fan of the kid, you will find something to nit-pick over.

I agree. It was in no way an insult to kb. Just a little perspective that he is not likely to be a CJ talent.

KB makes be nervous because he is raw. But, he intrigues me.

Not to be that guy or anything. But... aren't most kids coming out of college a bit raw? Cam only had 1 year of major college experience. Talent can cover for a lot of issues.

I was not the biggest KB fan. Only because he scares me. But the kid has the talent and size we have been looking for. I am really looking forward to Training Camp now. Can't wait to see this kid with Cam throwing him the rock.

We got Benjamin. Why wreck it with Bryant? I prefer Enunwa (another red zone threat with physicality) or Washington.

I love the pick. We desperately needed a redzone target and KB is that. He and Olsen will be an awesome combo. My only concern at this point is we still lack speed at WR. I'm still hoping we take another or maybe King really has something to show us.

Clemson WR Martavius Bryant 6'4"/6'5" 210 lbs

Sub 4.4 40 time

OR

Rutgers WR Brandon Coleman 6'6" 225 lbs

4.5 40 time

One of these guys in the 3rd please and thank you

I gave the Panthers an 'A' grade in the thread rating the pick.  So me not being a fan or nitpicking is purely your imagination.

This is nothing against you or your softball buddy, all I said was there's no way he's 4% bodyfat becuase he isn't.  He may have low bodyfat but he is not 4% trust me.

Mcshay just said he dropped more balls than any top wr he evaluated. The Panthers have always failed with evaluating wide receivers, I believe this trend will continue

Sent from my iPhone using CarolinaHuddle

Most of his drops came in the Florida game.....where he also had three touchdowns.....I'll take that.
