I love the pick. We desperately needed a redzone target and KB is that. He and Olsen will be an awesome combo. My only concern at this point is we still lack speed at WR. I'm still hoping we take another or maybe King really has something to show us.

That's all you can ask of your GM, "swing for the fences". I'm liking Gettlemagic already. He doesn't try to fool himself or the fanbase. He comes in and fills the obvious needs and doubles his efforts in doing so.

I expect OT in the 2nd round how (Bitonio might still be around, or someone else) and they might even grab another receiver in the 4th or 5th.  Shaping up to be a good draft if they can grab an OT.

Don't think for a second that we aren't thinking another WR in round 2. Guys like Latimer, Matthews, Richardson, etc. We worked out tons of WRs and we likely have our "Kawann Short" type WR that we are crossing our fingers makes it to 60

Something interesting also is that they say you draft players to beat the best team on your schedule. The best team on our schedule is Seattle. We drafted KB to give the Seattle secondary a guy to worry about. It will be interesting to see who else we draft in rounds 2 and 3

He didn't look tthat vascular at the combine.  4% must be some kind of exaggeration from some source. 

 

Looking at him I say no way.

 

4% is bodybuilding level with hyper defined striations and vascularity.

I'm having trouble judging where they may go in the second. How many teams still need a WR after round 1? Cross off Bills, Bucs, Giants, Saints...That leaves obvious teams that need a WR out there like the Jets, Eagles, Chiefs, maybe the Ravens... I think at 60 those 6 may be gone.

I would be willing to bet we are hoping for Latimer but I don't know if he makes it that far. We need a speedy guy now that we have our big guy though. I would like to see Paul Richardson in round 3 or Robert Herron in round 4.
