If they could somehow recapture the original Might Morphin Power Rangers with a darker tone it could actually be pretty cool. Since Lionsgate is partnering if sounds like they may go that route. Green Ranger forever

Well considering the original movie sucked miserably, this can't be much worse.  Granted I watched the hell out of that movie when I was a kid.

I can't think of a live action show that stands out. More animation stuff. Starblazers or Battle of the Planets.

I was OBSESSED with the show.  One of my birthday parties as a kid was Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers themed. The movie however, was a steaming pile of poop. The chick that played Dulcea was hot though.
