I'm likely in the minority but I'd personally love it.  He took care of NFL caliber DEs this year and protected Kaeps blindside some years ago.  He's the same size as Gross and that's truly the only thing I see being the reasoning behind the whole "he's a guard" talk.

Continuity is extremely important on the O-line, so being that he remains relatively healthy is a HUGE plus!!!

We would be getting a solid starter in Bitonio and at the end of the day, we need three solid starters from this draft.

Will he beast? Remains to be seen. Would most likely benefit greatly from an NFL strength and conditioning training, not to mention NFL level coaching.

At worst, picking him means we get an upgrade at RG. If he excels some.....then a starting RT. If he really gets it, the we have an LT. I couldn't be upset with this pick! He is a prototypical lunch box player. However, not sexy at all!

Bitonio is one a very few that can A) play left tackle and B) is pro ready, plug and play type.
