I've never smoked mj but i have been around some friends that have. Based on my experiences around them, most did what they call a toke. Not smoke a whole bag or joint. Just enough to get through the day. Either to releive stress or help a pinched nerve. And through that i never once saw bad behavior. But then again its only a small sample size and also they didnt get completely high either.  Being drunk and high are 2 different things. Sure neither one should be tolerable around the workplace or anywhere really. But just take a few hits and it helps you get through the day, maybe help imsomnia. I don't think i can say for one sec to stop doing it IMMEDIATELY, because i'm not in the users shoes. Sure they may be using it as a cruch, but maybe not so. I can't say nor do i want to judge.

That is the thing, I never said don't smoke pot. I just say exactly what you say, don't do it at work, and don't drive under the influence. Of anything.

But that makes me a hypocritical ingorant person, I guess.

See, this is the type of crap that make you a douche.

True the yelling and how he typed it out was uncalled for. But at the same time he does have a point. How many drugs to help just with cold or any other illness have a warning that it can cause drowsiness? or to not use machinery or drive a vehicle.  Loads of them. Hell any bottle of meds you pick up the side effects in most cases are worser than what its supposidly trying to treat.

Very true. And if you take them, drive, and have an accicent, guess what? You can be charged with DWI. I am not sure how this helps his argument.

Most everyone knows that you can be charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI) when driving under the influence of alcohol or illegal controlled substances such as marijuana or methamphetamines however it is less well known that use of common over-the-counter and prescription medications could also result in a DUI. In the midst of flu season and with hay fever season just around the corner it is good time to remind drivers that commonly prescribed or over-the-counter medications can have just as great an impact on your driving abilities as alcohol. Driving under the influence means just that; any drug, legal or illegal, that causes side effects such as dizziness, incoherence, drowsiness, and loss of muscle coordination, can impair your driving to the point that you could possibly be charged with DUI.

Then that opens another cam of worms, say your on something prescribed by your doctor. But its to treat a long term health condition and its not going away anytime soon. Yes sure the doctor could tell you, you would have to have a driver to get you to and from work, but lets say that warning doesn't happen. of course a case like that would be a one in a million occurance. Doubtfull they could get you with a dwi if you have evidence on your condition and the perscription. Of course you can be hit with of fines and spend jail time as you were driving recklessly.

See I don't get this:

1. When I use to smoke I would never be mean or troll on message boards because I just wanted everybody to get along and

2. Would be super paranoid about posting info of myself and how I cheated a drug test to get my new job.

Maybe that's just me though
