OK, I'm tired of Mocks. I really am...but here is Scout.com's

Well one could use that logic every year when trying to see things from G-man's perspective.  Generalizations about his perspective are great, but I promise you that he doesn't look at the draft process that simplistically, or to the point that his generalizations, witty or off the cuff remarks become dogma.

For example, he was there when the Giants drafted Nicks.

I mean that's true, I'm not saying they definitely won't draft a WR.  I'm just saying it's risky to pick a WR in the first round because compared to most other positions, the failure rate is pretty high.  The WR class is as deep as it's been in decades in this draft, so If they go in another direction in the first and chose a WR in one of the later rounds I wouldn't be disappointed.

Beckham may very well be going top 10.

I'm not so high on him either, but I'm in the minority on that and teams appear to feel differently.

I want Latimer/Robinson over Beckham/Lee. I think the reason Beckham/Lee are so over-valued is because they give you help at two positions: receiver and return man. I would love to have Beckham/Lee as a return man but as thin as we are at WR, I don't like us risking our prized 1st R WR as a returner (that is how Lee hurt his knee). As a WR-only player, I easily want Latimer/Robinson over Beckham/Lee

Who says they would have to play wideout and return? Cobb, Smith, D Jackson all were returners who stopped returning.

what i'm saying is that the only way I see Beckham/Lee having more value than Latimer/Robinson is if Beckham/Lee play both receiver and return man while Latimer/Robinson play only WR. If Beckham/Lee are only going to play WR, then I would easily go with Latimer/Robinson over Beckham/Lee
