Yet in the redraft many believe he would have been the #1 pick. Keenan Allen wasn't a 3rd round receiver, he was the best WR in the damn draft class before his injury. Terrible example.

Where did this idea come from that by drafting defense we're not helping out Cam? A strong defense is a QB's, especially a young QB's, best friend. I'd even argue that a strong defense helps out a QB more than a Megatron.

I'm not saying we don't need to draft Cam so offensive weapons. I'm just saying that defense is an awfully strong weapon too.

It's year 4 for Cam and the talent around him has gotten worse every year. If he's going to be the highest paid player on your team he needs to be the reason you're winning games and not the reason you aren't losing them. The Defense is fine ranked 2nd last year. Where did the offense rank? Need more balance, I'm tired of seeing the defense give us good field position and we can't score points.

you never know who's going to drop. saying we won't or shouldn't draft defense is closed minded. we'll see who's there when the clock strikes, and fortunately we have a good judge of talent driving the ship. the only thing I am confident about in this draft is that we will draft someone of higher value than our position on every pick.

It depends if we want him. I think our GM supports Cam so I don't think we will get a QB in the first. I don't know if you remember when ATL drafted Scaub when they had Vick. So every team has different ideas when it comes to the draft.
