I totally get that some people are on here 24x7...

I can understand they want to read new insights, new articles, and new takes...

But locking or moving threads because one is tired of a subject seems to directly contradict what the forum is about.

I mean seriously, if you dont want to read 'another post' about ~whatever~ than friggin dont read it, or if you have to share your h8 than do what the jerks do and just post 'do we have to have another post on blah blah blah'.

I double-dog dare you to insert a name that rhymes with "Ike Stick" into that ~whatever~ slot.

Not sure how this post turned - I am not talking about reading before you post, posting the same thing as another - I am talking about locking threads because one is tired of 'yet another post'.

Another post means it has different content - thats all im saying. Feel free to go back to absurdities now.

poo, we had to read thread after thread about peppers. those were not locked or moved.

I combined 20 Peppers threads in one hour one night.

That lasted about a day.

It seems like a no-brainer to me. The Ronnie Mex threads were moved/locked/whatever because this is the Panthers forum, he's not a Panther, and with training camp in full swing, this isn't really the offseason anymore. Also, Zod posted a thread telling everyone he was gonna do it if he saw one more thread about it. You can say it relates to the Panthers, but you'd be wrong because he's not coming here anyway. It's the most uselessly annoying topic in football right now, thank God they policed it.

multiple threads on the same topic is something that is going to happen. They should be combined though and never locked. Locking a thread and/or jumping down someone's throat because there is another thread started already is very childish.

Complaining about too many threads on one subject is also quite immature

This place is fu_king AWESOME!!! This is the funniest thread in quite a long while, unless I missed yesterday's. I would like to say thanks to the Rulers of the Huddle for continually weeding through the bullmalarkey and keeping this site highly entertaining, informative and running. My days wouldnt be the same without the Huddle...
