Johns mock draft

Recommended Posts

Im picking BPA like Gettlemen will so let get started

1st Round- Morgan Moses OT VT he will be our day one starter at LT

2nd Round- Pierre Desir CB Lindenwood prototype CB and a good one and will get a WR later

3rd Round- Paul Richardson WR Colorado I personally saw this play he's quick and knows the route tree

4th Round-Robert Herron WR Wyoming he can get separation off the line as good as anyone put him in the slot and he'll be good and there's your double dip they my not be the best but they have the potential to come in and contribute right away.

5th Round- Adrian Hubbard LB Bama this kid should be rated higher than he is but we're lucky to get him in the 5th

6th Round- Brandon Thomas OT Clemson he tore his ACL but he was considered a 2rd pick but we him in the 6th with no risks

7th Round- Ross Cockrell CB Duke he held his own against Mike Evens a steal here

Let me know your thoughts on this draft

Richardson and Herron are great undervalued WRs

Richardson got his weight up to 180 could add on 10 more pounds by the time the season starts. Gettlemen said he wanted pro ready WR that had a route tree, he also had a sucky QB and team, but he put up good numbers

Herron small about the same size as smith, im not comparing him to smith, but he can leave a CB on the line, if we draft him we great a slot player and a kick and punt returner

What kind of POO would you propose?

Bigger Wr. You have 2 wr who are pretty much the same type (small, speed, light weight slot wr) who neither one are know for going over the middle.

You could get a better Wr in the 2nd get the Cb in the 3rd. Then get a small speed guy in the 4th or vice versa.

If we draft Moses (I've warmed up on him, I've liked what I've seen but he's undoubtably a project.) He's not going to start Day 1 at LT over Bell unless he kills it at camp. He's less proven a Pass Protector than Bell.

Desir in the second is a huge reach. He's considerd a mid-late third, and I LIKE this guy a lot, but getting him in the second, hen there'll definitely be WRs on the big board higher than him, would be dumb.Especially when there's a chance he's there in the 3rd.

Richardson, as of right now, is purely a slot guy. We have 3 other slot guys on our roster right now. Granted there's a chance a few of them won't make the team, but Richardson as our first WR is not going to help much. he's way too light and not strong enough to go up against NFL DBs right now.

As you said yourself, Robert is a Slot guy, if we drafted him after drafting Richardson, that's 5 slot WRs! Not to mention there'll definitely be some value DEs or Gaurds at this spot.

Brandon Thomans may have an ACL injury but a lot of draftniks expect that to, at the wort, make him fall to the 4-5th.
