So just because the advice is not what you want to hear it means people don't care and are judging you. Wow. You are so narrow minded and shot-sighted it is amusing.

And the funniest posts have been yours.

Jackass.

If the responses were genuine and insightful I would actually respond as I did earlier in the thread to the people that actually responded accordingly.

I will never take someone's advice that is so uneducated on the subject matter that they just resort to judging you and bringing my family into the convo.

Uneducated on the matter? Please spare me your self righteous bullshit. I offered you my thoughts, and you immediately resorted to insults, which just proves that you are the ignorant asshole who is going to go down in flames doing exactly what he wants to do because dammit, it is what he wants to do and nobody else matters.

And you brought your family into it way before I did.

I can assure you that I have more life experience with every single aspect of this conversation that you do.  I let pot ruin my first turn at college, and missed many great opportunities because of it. I decided that my life and my new (at the time) family was more important than a 30 minute high.

You know, you are an ignorant self righteous douche, and I am sorry that I ever got in this conversation with you, as I think you have managed to kill some of my brain cells and I feel stupider for having talked to you.

Why are you blaming weed on your failure at your first attempt to go to college? It was YOU, and your attitude.

My best friend just got his masters degree in Bio chemistry from UCSD and he smokes an ounce a month. My other best friend is at Auburn now becoming an architect and smokes like fugging Snoop Dogg.

You dont realize that youre judging people you know nothing about by using your life as an example. Everybody is different. Every situation is different.

I hope when you sit down with your family tonight for dinner, you take a sip from your alcoholic beverage and stop to think about this conversation and realize how you shouldn't have judged me and my situation, and that maybe that addictive poison you're sipping on isnt even close to being as bad as what I do with my free time.

B, if you have insomnia then get the F off the internet and huddle, quit looking at screens, and get outside etc. Guaranteed cure from Dr. James.

YOURE WELCOME.

Thanks for the advice bro but if my lengthy suspension from the huddle didn't help then I don't think that's the issue.

Whatever you do don't look up any spoilers or go to reddit it's best watching it blind.

I stayed away from every thing BB until I started watching it last week, so I don't know too much past Walter running over fellow employees.

You are correct, it was me that had the problem, but pot was a major contributing factor. And you have no idea because you were not there to see it. But for you to say that I have no idea just because I am not a pothead is just a childish point of view to have.

And I don't drink at home, asshole.  I only drink when I go out with friends, which is once a month at the most. So you can kiss my ass.

But none of this is even relevent to the discussion, which you have so deftly tried to deflect into insults directed at me.

You are talking about cheating on a drug test to get a job.. AND THAT IS WRONG...you freaking thickheaded insolent drug addled jackass.

You can try as much as you want to change the facts but they are there.

1. You smoke pot daily, and have no intentions of stopping, unless it is to pass a drug test, and even then only if it is a last resort.

2. You fully intend on cheating to pass a drug test to get a job. Which is wrong, and could cost you the job if they ever found out.

3. You have resorted to insults multiple times by calling people ignorant who have simply been offering differing opinions than yours.

4. You have made assumptions about people that are completely unfounded, then based your arguement on these assumptions.

5. You have made a jackass out of yourself.

Once again, as I have said many times in this ludicrous excuse for a conversation, I wish you the best. But you are really making it hard for anyone to give you any advice, as all you do is insult everyone who says anything that you do not agree with.

You know what bro? It sounds to me like you live a pretty boring, by the book life. I do things differently and I shouldn't be judged for that.

So why don't you save yourself sometime and just except that everyone is different and everyone leads different lives. I'm doing just fine in life so I don't need any advice on how to live. I asked for a simple choice between two decisions regarding a stupid cheap drug test and that's it.

Time to move along.

You really shouldn't cheat on the drug test, even if your using the pot for medical purposes. Likewise i've never had imsomnia, but i assume its a bitch thing to have.  If it was myself in the situation i would try to quit smoking pot and see if their was alternative methods to help me sleep, yes you would have to say no to the drug test and the job offer until your quit intirelly or atleast you know for certain that its out of your system (say a month free?). Not getting enough sleep causes headaches as well anxiety/depression. I'm sure if you can knock out the imsomnia the other symptoms will subcide. Have your tried over the counter sleep aids? and i dont mean take it one night and it doesn't work that night quit, i mean do the same meds for a whole week to let them get into your system.

why don't you just tell them your father has a grammy at home and you will let them touch it instead?

but seriously i'm kind of torn about this.

a couple things: you admitted it's a crutch because you have insomnia, anxiety, ect.

there are healthy ways to remedy these things without having a crutch on MJ. i hike, or do something physical in the morning and after work. it relaxes my my mind and relieves stress and is the ultimate healthy thing you can do. Sorry but MJ is not completely healthy and you're lying to yourself if you say otherwise.

you do a lot of blaming on society (and i agree mj should be legalized) but you have a wife and a kid to take care of now. you say you've only had 4 days to take a drug test. you should have been thinking about this when you married your wife and had a kid that one day you would probably have to take a drug test to better your life for you kid and spouse. unless you are settled in the job you have now and the money you are making, and that's fine.

this is kind of a slippery slope for me because i've helped people in college cheat on drug tests to get back in school because 1: they had quit for over a month and were still coming out positive on home kits and 2. i think mj is the most harmless drug known to man and has helped me quite a bit in expanding my mind because i came from a very walled up, sheltered childhood.

i think you need to think of ways to stop smoking and supplement those with other things that work (try bikram yoga, running, hiking, biking) so that MJ isn't taking away something that your daughter may need in the future because you have to worry or not pass a simple drug test for an increase in pay

This is a good post and I appreciate it.

I have stopped smoking many times in my life and tried to replace it with things that you listed. I just always find myself smoking again because nothing really changes as far as my sleep issues or stress level. I also constantly remind myself that what I do isn't a bad thing and that very soon it will finally be excepted like its beginning to be. People that are really uneducated and against marijuana piss me off. I honestly feel like a homosexual living in the south sometimes and that I have to keep it a secret, even though what I'm doing doesn't harm anyone or myself.

I have a stable job and pays the bills but I'm always looking for more so when this opportunity came about I did the interview and bam, now I have a drug test in 4 days. Even if I didn't smoke every day I probably would've smoked a little with some friends over the weekend or something so this would still be an issue.

The thing is this isn't my dream job, and I have other opportunities that don't even require a drug test. So I'm REALLY not worried. This could just be one of the better gigs I've had and could potentially be something stable for a while. So I'm going to go through with trying to pass this test and then we'll see what the next chapter holds.

honestly try bikram yoga. i know people that swear by that who were users who didn't want to smoke anymore but had mental health issues.

if that doesn't work then i have no more advice. a lot of these other posters bashing your insomnia and anxiety are retarded and probably have never experienced it to the extreme that you may have. insomnia is terrible and makes people prone to suicide and rage. and anxiety can of course be crippling and leave you unable to provide for your family.

good luck man and hope everything works out even though you are Bwood and i hate you. :-)

want to relieve stress and calm down naturally, try Tai Chi and/or mediation.  it's all in your head.  learn to control your mind, which you've shown on several occasions in this very thread that you need practice doing, and you'll be just fine.  it takes time, but if you have the dedication and strength to keep it up, you'll be in a much better place

weed, alcohol, sleeping pills, etc are all crutches.  they don't actually fix the issue that you're trying to escape from, just mask it temporarily.  the only way to cure the problem is to deal with it directly.  seriously, dedicate yourself to taking control of your mind and body, and you won't need/want chemicals.  you'll feel a poo ton better, too.

best advice I ever heard: 10min of Tai Chi is much better for you than 10 more min of sleep.  You should never have any excuse not to do at least 10min of Tai Chi every night.

yoga is the fugging bomb.  as a life long athlete, I used to scoff at yoga.  I started doing it a couple of years ago, and I wish I had been for 20.  it does things for you body you can't even imagine until you've gotten into it for a while.  yoga and tai chi are things that take every day discipline, but are fugging amazing for your mental and physical health.

    • Tetairoa McMillan.   The last 28 1st overall picks were either a QB, DE, or OT. Seeing as I don't think we'd take an OT in the 1st and give up on Ickey as an LT yet and there doesn't seem to be a clear overall #1 type of QB or DE pick this year, it very well could be a non conventional #1 overall this year, at least in regards from the last almost 3 decades of drafts. If we didn't have Horn, I'd be more open to Hunter as a CB at #1, but we have him so another CB wouldn't be how I'd use a #1 pick.  And as much as I love Legette, if we have SB contending aspirations, I don't think Legette is a #1 on a team like that, but he damn sure is an elite #2 on a team like that.  He's more of the Smith/Higgins/Waddle to Brown/Chase/Hill (in terms of role/impact, not style of play of course). T-Mac is going to be the top ranked WR on every team's board in the end.  He is going to be a true outside #1 WR who is viewed as a consensus Top 5 WR in the game by his second contract in the same way guys like Jefferson and Chase have done.  His height combined with his speed, athleticism, and hands are near impossible to find all in one player, there is a reason his generally used comp is Mike Evans (although as he's not as thick, I personally see him more as an AJ Green). Yes, as an Arizona alum I've admitted to having bias towards the player to begin with.  But he's also someone very widely being put into the Top 5 in mock drafts lately and most of them have him as the first non QB offensive player being taken, so it's not really THAT much of a homer pick on my part anyways. If a QB or DE truly separate themselves as being a can't miss prospect come draft day, I'm open to that discussion, but until then, or if it doesn't happen, T-Mac is my pick 100 times out of 100.
