Falling QB's - A Trip Down Memory Lane

What exactly makes you think he isn't a hard worker like Russell Wilson?

You said that same type of silliness about Cam Newton last year.

I don't watch him in practice or in the film room so it's only opinion and speculation. But he was in the headlines for the entire summer and none of it was positive. He got kicked out of Peyton Mannings passing academy because he was partying instead of taking things seriously. He doesn't come off as mature. He didn't respect college football when he made comments about how he couldn't wait to leave Texas A&M. He responds to haters on Twitter by posting a picture of his Heisman Trophy (guess he doesn't keep it in a box at his parents house).

You can make the comparison to Cam criticisms by Nawrocki but I see it differently.  There are actual examples with Manziel. Russel Wilson and Manziel are both undersized guys, I think RW overcame his disadvantage by being professional and studying the game. In my opinion, Manziel won't be that type of player.

I think Cam is more professional and focused on football than Manziel too. I don't think its close.

I can't say one way or the other whether or not he is a hard worker based on what you listed. I think with Manziel it ultimately depends on what type of situation he ends up in. The right head coach for his type of personality will be key.

Bridgewater is a baller. Forget his Pro Day. The guy can play. What? Has everybody forgotten his Sugar Bowl performance? He embarrassed a highly-praised Gator defense for four quarters.

It amazes me how people were wrong about Cam. He's a one-in-a-lifetime talent but they still refuse to acknowledge him on par with Kaepernick, Wilson and Luck.

His stats were mediocre that game dude...

Something tells me you have zero idea what 'mediocre' is... then again I'm talking to the guy who believes Kouandjio handles speed rushers just fine.

20/32; 266 yards; 2 TDs; 1 INT

Yes, my Blaine Gabbert senses are tingling.

Yes that's very mediocre. You act like he threw for 300+ with 3+ Tds and no picks.

And this is coming from the guy who completely pulls poo out of his ass and claims them as fact. Like how manziel is only accurate outside of the pocket then threw out some bs stats and failed miserably.

Wow, I guess Cam's been mediocre then. :o

BS stats? Funny you should mention that since Manziel-lover [Gruden] threw them out there after his 'comprehensive' study of Johnny Football over two seasons at Texas A&M (check out his QB Camp segments you clueless dingbat).

Except his accuracy % has never been lower than 68% in either of his seasons so saying 57% inside and 67% outside doesn't average out to be >68% learn math and do independent research before you make dumbass claims and end up looking like a dumbass.

I have no idea what kind of pro Manziel is going to be. Wouldn't be surprised if he is effective, but won't be surprised if he is a bust.

It is not fair to just compare him to other people with similar stats, you have to watch him play and know if it translates. He is one of the first QBs in a while that has me completely stumped in that regard.

20/32; 266 yards; 2 TDs; 1 INT against a defense that allowed 179.7 passing yards and 12.9 points all season. Let's also disregard all the crucial third down conversions he completed.

Yes, my Blaine Gabbert senses are tingling.

CarolinaCoolin being his usual charming self I see. Hey cutie.

I don't know if I would call that mediocre. But I wouldn't call it embarrassing a defense either.

Yeah me too lol. I think Bortles is the worst of the top 3 QBs and people thinking he'll be the top guy

Bortles situation reminds me of Blaine Gabbert, not the players and styles etc, just the situation.

They are both QBs who stocks are higher and are being touted better than what they are because everyone seems to be weary of better and more obvious choices.
