Eagles release DT Jervonte Jackson

The brother of Eagles C Jamaal Jackson, Jervonte Jackson (6-5, 300) registered 153 tackles and 7.5 sacks during his four-year career at Florida Atlantic University. The 22-year-old Jackson was named a first-team All-Sun Belt selection as a senior after posting 41 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

6-5 and 300? He's an OT more than a DT. First of all he's too light at 300 lbs to be a space-eater considering he has a 6-5 frame. Second, at 6-5 his center of gravity is too high. Third, as MadHatter said, we have talent as good in our UDFAs anyway
