Signs point to the Bucs taking a QB with their pick.(Gabeking hates title)

The right thing to do would be to give Glennon a shot but the Bucs need to get a sure fire thing going at QB. Matt Moore should have been given a chance too and we took Cam. Just how it works.

Matt Moore played well to close out 2009. He was given the starting job the following year. We drafted pickles, so his leash was very short. I understand the pressure the coaching staff was under, so that was expected. This is slightly different because they brought in a vet (who's ceiling is very well known) and named him the starter even before OTAs. At least in the case of the Jets, Vick can still play when healthy. Josh McCown? Come on now, that guy blows. Again, this is Tampa we're talking about, so I hope it backfires.

to be far though, when Josh played last year he was on fire...1829 yards, 13 TDs and 1 pick....in only 5 games starting (8 games played)...

but he was pretty much suckage before that...

Glennon has actually been decent, its not like he pulled a Gabbert or Weeden and showed he wasn't the guy after a few games. Honestly I'd take him over a couple of "decent" starters for other teams right now. In addition to those guys who really sucked like Gabbert, I'd rather have him than Ponder or Bradford.(And no, I'm not a State fan).

But that's all beside the point, which is just that the Bucs have a decent QB, and instead of trying to build around him, they want to start over with their own QB. Do it Bucs, fuging do it. Please. What's a few more years of treading water/mediocrity??

Ok, hear me out.  I'm probably waaaaay off and this is totally my opinion.  But does anyone feel like if Mike Glennon wasn't so fugin ugly, he'd be the guy in Tampa right now?  I mean seriously, the guy couldn't possibly become the face of the franchise and put people in the seats could he?  I know that their coaching staff is new and with that, usually comes new faces.  But, he played pretty well actually.  13 games, 59.4 completion percentage, 2608 yards, 19 TDs, and 9 ints, for a rookie thrown into the fire.  There aren't enough good QBs for everyone to have one.  So isn't it better to build off something decent, instead of playing qb carousel every year?  I don't know, they think he's ugly and don't want him to be their face.

ps, I think it's great that Tampa is starting this poo show.  I'd like to see Glennon do well in the AFC.

lol he looks kinda like drew brees with his neck stretched out after that hit from the 49ers.

bucs draft a QB, release Glennon a couple years later and he ends up being better than the busted QB they drafted

falcons trade away their whole draft to move up for clowney who decides to take 3 years off until it's a contract year

saints take a DB in the 1st for like the 8th time in the last 9 years

lulz

Glennon was that bad? He was one of the late prospects who was gonna take the nfl by storm last year like many of this year's current QBs. What makes them think this year's prospects will be any better. Other than Bridgewater the rest of this year's QBs will be all bum. Hopefully they draft all those bums before our pick.

Since 2011(Cam's year) only QBs that turn out as potential franchise players are Cam, Luck, Wilson, Kaepernick, RG3, and maybe Geno, what makes them think all those bums(other than Bridgewater) in this year's draft will make it. NFL GMs are certainly dumb ex-jocks. They never learn from others' mistakes.

I would be so fuging happy if they took a QB, as long as it's not Bridgewater.

Don't want that kid in our division to pick us apart annually. They can pick him in the 7th round but we all know what he'll do once on the field. They can ignore it but no one can claim they didn't see it coming.
