Eric Shelton, I thought he was going to be awesome here.

Jarius Wright? Take it from an Arkansas fan, he was the better receiver. I just really thought Joe Adams was gonna be a playmaker. So explosive in college.

 yes , I was high on him for months before  the draft.

Honestly the only one I can think of is Clausen.  I was pumped when we made the pick and was delusional about 3/4 of the way through his rookie year before I finally took off the blinders.  My go to excuse for him was how bad Aikman was his rookie year.

Been wrong MANY times.....

 

1. Thought Cam would take too long to develop and not sure if his skills would translate to the NFL.....majorly wrong

2. Thought Clausen was a value pick late in the 2nd round and would be at least a solid QB....majorly wrong

3. Thought the Dwayne Jarrett pick in the 2nd was a big steal....majorly wrong

4. Loved the Joe Adams pick...wrong

 

What the hell was I thinking.

Disliked KK Short pick (mostly because Keenan Allen was still on the board)

 

Also disliked the TD pick because he was a tweener S/LB.

 

Liked DJ, Frank Alexander and LOVED Joe Adams

 

On the flip side I HATED the Clausen pick...

Was pissed that we drafted Thomas Davis instead of Derrick Johnson

Loved the otah, Jarrett, and sherrod Martin picks.

 

Yep this is exactly why I wasn't a fan of the TD pick. 

 

Too be fair, both have had very nice careers.

Duke Robinson was another big miss for me, I wanted him in the third. He and Jarrett were one in the same, all the physical talent you could ask for, no desire to use it.

I don't consider Otah a bust though.

when the panthers traded down and selected beason in 2007 i wasn't too high on the pick.  i was convinced we were going to draft greg olsen but i suppose that ended up working out in the end.

 

it doesn't get brought up very often because he's turning into a legend before our eyes, but there were a lot of people who disliked the thomas davis pick and at least a few here who considered him a bust for years even before he missed all those games.

Was wrongfully  stoked about the Dwayne Jarret pick

I was really happy about the Gary Barnidge  (SP?) pick to    I thought he could become a moderatly productive receiving TE

Was rightfully pissed about the Everette Brown pick
