We shouldve drafted him. Should try to trade for him.

I dont think MKG will ever have a jumper(not in the next two seasons anyway)

He could just work on other things like a floater in the lane and just be aggressive on the baseline like a young Shawn Marion. Just have more confidence in being a playmaker and he has the other intangibles you want in a wing.

He just has to be a threat while on offense. I thought he found it in the that one playoff game but was disappointed he did not replicate that.

I was checking out DraftExpress's mock draft today and they have Giannis's brother Thanasis going 60th overall to San Antonio.

For those that aren't familiar with Thanasis, Thanasis is the older brother of Giannis a.k.a. The Greek Freak 2.0.

Thanasis spent this past season in the U.S. opting to play in the NBADL with the Deleware 87ers instead of continuing his career in Greece. Thanasis played in 50 games averaging nearly 30 minutes a game. Thanasis' averages are as followed...

Points: 12.0

Rebounds: 4.3

Assists: 2.1

Blocks: 1.3

Steals: 1.2

While Thanasis doesn't posses the hype that Giannis did/does, Thanasis is a solid prospect and actually is similar to Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Thanasis is known for his defense and his hustle plays and like MKG he struggles on the offensive end but overall has a much more polished offensive game and may just need to be coached up.

Thanasis tends to struggle with his mechanics when shooting the basketball and his mechanics are often inconsistent. Thanasis also tends to shoot the ball on the way down and changes his release points, he also shoots below 30% from the three point line.

Overall, Thanasis is an intriguing prospect and with a shooting coach like Mark Price; he could possibly become a solid 6th or 7th man and be what Jeff Taylor was supposed to be for Charlotte.

If I had to pick an NBA Comparison for Thanasis, it would probably be Andre Iguodala

Marion is a good comparison, came into the league with no jumper but still contributed on offense while truly shining on defense.  And if he could make his ugly ass jump shot work than there is still hope for MKG

After seeing that video Id take him in the first! He would be the most talented wing on the roster...Taylor with a torn achillies is not promising imo. Hate that he Jeff Taylor had a great season lining up for him and a horrible injury like that happens.

please remember thats the NBA D League. the competition in the d league is waaaaaayyyy easier than the real NBA. remember CDR averaged about 20 a game in the d league, doesnt transfer too much to the real league

I do understand and I was being a bit sarcastic...about the first round stuff.

I have played and watched enough to see he has natural scoring skills however. He has good range, first step and leaping ability which one would have at any level. If he can string it consistantly is the question..so I am not saying he will be a star or anything.
