I've told a lot of friends who like BBT to watch it without a laugh track. Usually they wind up pissed off and somehow still defending the show. Morons. Agreed so much with the above though, about the superiority of Parks and Rec, The Office, Community, and Scrubs (all 4 of my favorites though all had rough points). How I Met Your Mother (another show with rough patches) is the only show with a laugh track I can remember enjoying the past few years. 

 

I still watch Parks and Rec nearly everyday. When I watch with other people, it's almost like they don't get the jokes without the laugh track there to tell them to laugh. It's almost as if sitcoms have ingrained in people's heads how to watch a comedy show, when to laugh, etc., even at clearly unfunny moments.

Don't forget Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Louie and The League.  I don't actually watch the last two, but I'll get around to them sooner or later.

Back to Silicon Valley, which is awesome. Wish it was an hour and wish the season was longer. Binged on it for a day with my wife on a hangover recovery day.

Just watched the whole season in 2 days and at first I didn't care for it but by episode 3 I was hooked. I loved that Gregory character then after watching it I found out he died and was like WTF!! My wife turned me onto this show she loved it,  so anyway cant wait for season 2.
