I miss some of the more famous trolls/idiots.

 

TRD, TruCatzfan, Grits. They provided nothing to the Huddle, while providing everything at the same time. 

 

i miss the utter stupidity of CharlottePanther, Alice, and their ilk... i actually enjoyed reading CharlottePanther's stuff. not because it did anything for me intellectually, but because it was hilariously devoid of intelligence. Fat Alice is just fun to fug with... haha

Sorry, but PantherFan4Life was the master. Most Huddlers found his trolling irresistible. He owned their souls.

 

I outed that tool. His name is Richard and he's a pharmacist at a Target in Raleigh. I'm sure you can dig up the thread somewhere in here.

that was a hoot. that's back when The Golden Calf of Bristol was still a thing and PFFL was insisting any general manager worth a poo would trade cam for The Golden Calf of Bristol straight up and maybe even through in a fifth to make sure it gets done

I actually kind of liked TRD, he was definitely a troll though.

 

Funny thing is, he ended up doing what he said me and so many others would do... disappeared.  After we drafted Cam he stuck around for a little with token posts or if Cam had a bad game he would return to attempt to take a victory lap. but inevitably he just left and I assume went to the Miami boards to be with his homoerotic fantasy Matt Moore.

 

 

PFFL, was a different story.  He wanted so badly to be an intellectual, and would post walls of text to prove how smart he was with advanced statistics and weird algorithms.

 

Only problem was he was an idiot who couldn't do basic math, showed a fundamental misunderstanding of the statistics he was relying on, and seemed to have no actual football IQ.

 

Then he started his own message board and would try to poach posters from the Huddle.  I obliged him once because he was talking poo about me specifically over there.  I responded and quickly realized that every other poster there was just PFFL.  He created his own message board to post things and then used other handles to praise himself.  It would have been funny if it wasn't so sad.

 

He didn't just disappear, he was banned.  And then went on an epic meltdown that included at least 10 different alts just to come back and post angry posts about getting banned (I think it was Delhommy who banned him).  That was one of the greatest meltdowns in my time here at the Huddle.

 

I couldn't help it, those guys would bait me every time and I was maybe the biggest troll feeder on here for a while.  But they sometimes kept things interesting.
