Clemson WR Martavis Bryant visits

I mean he was clearly overshadowed at Clemson behind Watkins but in our scheme I think he good develop nicely with cam being able to deep ball it to him. As an Aj green type style of play

I can see that. I only watch him during the USC-Clemson game anyway so I probably have a corrupted view of him.

Yeah I just hope he wouldn't have Lafell hands.

Bryant is wildly inconsistent....unlike LaFell he has the tools to be a beast though IMO. Physically Bryant is impressive....he just doesn't seem to be a good WR at this stage.

And I am a huge Clemson fan

Yeah thats the reason he's not a 1st round pick cause he has everything else.

We must really be trying to hide the guy we really want at receiver. I think almost every draft eligible wideout has visited or worked out for the team.

Allen Robinson? He is one receiver I haven't heard them visiting with

Because of Megatron's success, everyone is getting obsessed with height. I'll take hands and route running over height any day.

Keep in mind Cam's best work passing was with Smitty in 2011. Also, the notion that because Cam sails one high once every other game, that we need an abnormally tall receiver is also overblown. When Cam does miss high, usually a 12 ft. tall receiver wouldn't make the catch.

draft blogger on Martavis:

"classic boom-or-bust player...blue chip combination of height, length, and speed (6'4, 211... 4.42 forty...39 in vertical)...very green... raw... will need patience as he develops...could be out of the league in a few years if he doesn't develop... was inconsistent on a week-to-week basis, and did not produce against top competition... his intelligence and ability to learn an NFL playbook are question marks, given that he failed to qualify academically for college out of high school and was suspended for academics at Clemson.... needs to work on his concentration and focus... Inexperience is shown as a route runner where he is still raw and will need continued development"

Dolphins blogger:

"The question for the Dolphins is if the team feels that they can develop Bryant and transform his raw talent into what can eventually be a superstar receiver... He is still a very raw talent that has a lot of work to do before he can become a complete player... He has a tendency of dropping too many passes, mostly due to allowing the ball to get into his chest instead of catching it with his hands... However,..it's very rare to see a player boast both the combination of size and speed that Bryant possesses. He has all the tools needed to become a dominant player in the NFL"
