KRs in the draft.

We may have a few capable on the roster but without Ginn, it'd be nice to get a strong replacement. Field position meant a ton last year.

That kid from Ohio St is one I can think of and we met with him.

Anyone know how they line up in the draft?

The problem is, I don't think we do have anyone on the roster than can be a KR/PR. Barner might be able to, but he hasn't shown it yet. Underwood returned kicks, but that was like five or so seasons ago. Returner is one of the positions that I'm afraid we screwed ourselves on. Having Ginn with the ability to start us at the 25, 30, or even the 35 really helped our offense. Having someone who can't do that is going to be awful.

I'd say Josh Huff from Oregon will probably be the best of the bunch, and could be had in the 5th or 6th round.

Oh yeah, I should've thought of Huff as well.

Huff and Philly Brown. I wonder which of the DBs are as well. it's a pretty important hole that's barely been discussed this offseason.

That'd be ironic

In your opinion, how does he stack up vs Kenjon Barner?

He'd probably have similar rookie hurdles to cross as Barner did (and I don't think has yet).  But I do think he seems to have more of an NFL-variety RB move-set and overall agility to go along with his burst than Barner. Wayy more early-Sproles like.  Wayy more valuable to a team.

...oh and Mr. Iron Bowl winner Chris Davis is another returner.  We've checked him out at his pro-day as well.
