Draft should have been this weekend

I have thought about that fact since Thursday, and I'm not shame to admit it.  I began boycotting the NFLN more than a week ago because of my disgust.

For those thinking: "Yeah, get a life",  I have a life. But, part of my life is following my Panthers and the NFL, so bite me.

There are many who harken back to Cuban's statement about the NFL trying to be a year round league and suck in more dollars.

There is even talk about a 4 day draft.  Not sure how that will work.  I think they have stretched it about as far as they can go with 3.

They are in jeopardy of having people look to other sports in my opinion if they water down the product so much by spreading it out.

Wasn't there a scheduling conflict with Radio City that caused the delay? Saw some national guy tweet that the other day

From Colin Lindsey

"The draft has traditionally been held at New York's Radio City Music Hall in late April, but the league moved this year's draft to May ostensibly because of a scheduling conflict with the venue, although there have been suspicions that the move may actually have more to do with May sweeps."

What I think could actually help the NFL would be to move it to 8 venues, representing each division.  Our year would probably be in Atlanta just because they would better be able to host such an event.

You know

NFC East      NY

NFC South  Atlanta

NFC West   SF

NFC North  Chicago

AFC East   NY

AFC South Houston

AFC West  SF/Oakland

AFC North  ?? Cleveland because centrally located?

Just something that I think could interest fans a great deal and not destroy the product.

Is the draft still a first come, first serve event?

I have thought for years that I'd like to go to NY and stand in line to be part of the event, then I thought about it going on the road to all 32 cities, but shrank it down some to the 8 division locations.

Heck, I might be dead before it ever came to Charlotte.  32 years?

Road trip?

I am sick of hearing Kiper saying same crap, McShay trying to say something new, Path to the Draft could just be reruns at this point and we are still 11 days away.

Stupid NFL.  They messed this one up.

Masters over.  Draft should have been ongoing.....MOCK THIS NFL

No it shouldn't have. Shut up.
