Falcons Wanting to Move Up For Clowney

Clowney is NOT THAT GOOD. He was invisible in many games. He will be an average DE in the NFL. Both of our DE's are better than Clowney.

Clowney is going to be good. At the worst solid. The point is how much are they going to give up. They act like they have all the pieces, they don't even with clowney

Their should be some fear that the Falcons gm draft Mack. He would cause havoc in our division for a long time to come.

No more Havoc than Star,Hardy, and Johnson. Let the Falcons get Mack or Clowney and let Dave give us just one good WR and a OT/OG and I will be happy. Cam has made crap WRs look good for 3 years now and our line really is not going to change much from last year.

Clowney is a athletic freak but is just down right terrible in the run game. I am a USC fan and cant tell you how many times I have seen that boy get washed up on the line. He makes big plays for sure but he also takes a ton of plays off and really only cares to pass rush. I will fear him in 3 years when his pay day is coming. Thats really when he will turn it on.

I'd love to see them move up at a high cost.  I think Clowney can be a very special player, but will he be is the big question.  Also, giving up a bunch of picks to go up in this deep a draft is a big mistake in my eyes.  Also, their FA picks are more inline with more 34 looks than a base 43 right?  Wouldn't that mean you'd trade up to draft a one trick pony?  Clowney has the potential to be an amazing 43 End, but I don't think he's right as a 34 OLB.  Compared to Mack and Barr, who are real bonafide OLBs, he's just not as agile.  Clowney's game is lining up outside the tackle, and getting to the QB.

So let ATL do it and lose the ability to find players in the later rounds.  I don't think they will because, even to a laymen like myself, it seems rather silly to go boom or bust with everything on the table.  If ATL is smart, they get the best OL they can, fill in with some BPA and try to prove that 2013 was an aberration.
