Falcons Wanting to Move Up For Clowney

Their should be some fear that the Falcons gm draft Mack. He would cause havoc in our division for a long time to come.

None. Zip. Zero. Nada. Zilch. Getting a stud tackle was and still is my biggest "fear" and by far their wisest play. JMO.

Mack is a stud and I don't want him there, but there's no "fear". especially if they have to trade up. JMO.

Manziel could be scary...

Russel Wilson's escapibility with a better arm and better vision.

Manziel is not better than Wilson until he proves it on the field.  Plus even Wilson would be mediocre if he didn't have that defense and running game to back him up.  Manziel is one huge sack from being broken in half.  This isn't college anymore.

Clowney will be drafted #1....the Falcons will be the ones to draft him.

Worst kept "secret" in the NFL. It's a lock, trust me.......I know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy.

I've only been wrong once in my life and now she has half of everything I used to own and even kept my dog but I digress.....Clowney will be a Falcon.

or maybe a Texan

If this did indeed happen it would would probably push us to draft a Tackle in the first round unless Cyrus, Moses and Martin have already been picked. If Jake Matthews were to fall out of the top 10, I would not be opposed to trading up for him but it would be an unlikely scenario.

my nightmare scenario was clowney falling to the falcons somehow.  i still think he's a centerpiece that you can build an entire defense around.

if they're going to trade up for him though that's different because the top pick in the draft is going to be outrageously costly to acquire and could potentially screw them for years.  so that's a little easier to swallow.
